Pine Haven's clinical philosophy is that the capacity to heal from

traumatizing and disturbing experiences resides within each

child. Pine Haven's qualified professionals encourage and

facilitate the healing process within the boys.

Master's Degree clinicians provide individual, group, family/sibling

therapy and parent education under the supervision of Doctoral level

consultants. The intervention with students and siblings relies on

hands-on techniques (play, puppets, sand therapy, etc.) to foster the

expression of this young immature population. The core treatment for

sexually abused, sexually reactive/acting out boys is group work.
